3 questions for you to ask your children after reading it:

  1. At the beginning of the story The Color Monster is confused, when is a time you felt confused?

  2. The Color Monster has lots of different feelings and may feel some of those emotions more than others, are there any feelings you have a lot?

  3. Ask child to use markers or crayons to show how they are feeling in the moment. Facilitate discussion about what those colors mean to them.
