What this book is all about:

The Feelings Book illustrates a wide range of feelings that are easily relatable to children through the silly examples and vibrant illustrations. Towards the end of the book the author provides a reminder of the importance to share these feelings with a loved one!

Why you might want to read it:

This is a great beginning book to encourage awareness and identification of feelings. Plus, there is cool set of feelings flashcards that go with the book in which depicts opposite feelings; a great tool for practicing with young children!

3 questions for you to ask your children after reading it:

  1. Our story shared lots of feelings, one of them was feeling brave. Do you ever feel brave? Share a time you felt brave.

  2. Sometimes we feel our feelings in our body, where in your body to you feel happy/angry/sad?

  3. At the end of the story it states that we should share our feelings with someone, who is someone you can share your feelings with?
