What this book is all about:

In the end, Lily learns what it means to be patient and how to apologize and make things right with her teacher.

Why you might want to read it:

A wonderful story on learning to be patient, kind, and how to take responsibility for your actions.

3 questions for you to ask your children after reading it:

  1. Lily chose to draw pictures about her teacher when she was upset. While drawing is a wonderful way to express how you feel, why did her drawing get her in trouble?

  2. Besides drawing, what are some other ways you could express your feelings in an appropriate way?

  3. How does Lily make it right with Mr. Slinger? Has there been a time you needed to make it right? How did you solve the problem?
