Child-Centered Group Play Therapy for Preschoolers
Facilitated by Ashley Hembrock MS, LPC Associate under the clinical supervision of Sheila Wessels ME.d, LPC-S, RPT-S™
In this group participants will…
Development of interpersonal and intrapersonal skills
Increase knowledge and expression of feelings, wants, and needs
Increase in self-responsibility and improve self-control
Increase knowledge and implementation of coping skills
Increase knowledge and respect of others’ and self boundaries
*Treatment goals are focused on each individual
WHEN: Thursdays at 1:30 - 2:10 pm, 40-minute sessions
ATTENDANCE: This is a closed play therapy group running for 12 weeks.

AGE GROUP: Preschoolers ages 4 and 5
INVESTMENT: $100 per group session / $170 per caregiver consultation

Initiating tasks
How to maintain focus
Time management techniques
Organization tools and tips
Goal setting and prioritization skills
How to make and maintain friendships
Introception (Interoception is closely linked to executive functioning because the ability to accurately perceive and interpret internal bodily sensations can impact emotional regulation, decision-making, and goal-directed behavior)
Figure out self-regulation strategies that work for you
WHEN: Weekly sessions starting on Thursday, January 9th from 7:00pm - 8:00pm

EmpowerHer Leadership Group
Facilitated by Sarah Kelton, LPC-Associate, under the clinical supervision of Jaclyn N. Sepp, MA, LPC-S, RPT-S™, NCC, RYT® 200 and Sheila Wessels, MEd, LPC-S, RPT-S™
The EmpowerHer Leadership group is an opportunity for girls to explore some of the big issues impacting people identifying as female today like confidence, healthy friendships and relationships. The EmpowerHer mission is to equip girls with the knowledge and skills needed to live healthy, independent, productive and violence-free lives.
In this group participants will learn about topics such as...
Building a stronger sense of self worth and confidence.
Managing conflict, communication, and boundary setting.
Developing supportive and collaborative peer relationships.
WHEN: Mondays beginning February 3 from 5:00 - 6:00 PM
ATTENDANCE: This is a closed therapy group with limited spots available
WHERE: Our Spicewood Office (4210 Spicewood Springs Rd. Suite 203, Austin, TX 78759)
AGE GROUP: 11-13 year olds in grades 6-8 who identify as a girl
INVESTMENT: $95 per session for 10 sessions, with payments due at on the 1st of each month
